Last week I posted 4 unused things on EBAY. They were an attachment to an embroidery machine, a gnome figurine (a wedding gift from 17+ years ago), a guitar effects processor, and an old studio effects processor with a rack case. The last auction just closed and my total was $313.75 (not including the cost of shipping). Of course, it's not as good as the Creature from the Black Lagoon Pez dispenser I sold for $163 a few years ago, but it's still a good start towards a new (and guilt-free) mountain bike. I Love EBAY!

You SOLD a Creature From the Black Lagoon Pez dispenser??
Those are worth $1,000 to $3,000 now according to Antiques Road Show!
If you didn't like the gnome figurine, you could have just said so. :o)

mmmm...vista.
Actually, I did like both the Pez dispenser AND the gnome figurine. However, they also "liked" each other..too much. Their torrid affair was the topic of many complaints from the conservatives in my wife's Precious Moments collection. One spokesman from the top shelf of the guestroom closet stated "We were OK with it (the relationship), when it was 'out of the closet', where we can't see it, but we have childrens toys in here."
I thought about getting rid of only one of them (Pez), but the prejudice among my other collectibles was too strong and the Gnome couldn't take it. Buy, hey, that's what it's like when you live in the South.
Strangely enough I am at this very moment watching The Creature from the Black Lagoon on DirecTV.
You know, during the film CFTBL,
there's a scene where the guys on the boat are talking about the jungle environment they're cruising through and how it's never been touched or even SEEN by humans. During this speech, if you look closely, there's a telephone pole in the background the boat is passing.
