Tim's blog, A White Boy in Rwanda, is an online version of the journal he kept during his trip to Rwanda last Summer. Since he is transcribing it from his actual journal it's very "stream of consciousness" oriented and personal which captures the emotion and spiritual impact in a way documentaries and historical accounts just can't do. His tour of the country was with Immaculee Ilibagiza, author of Left to Tell, and was oriented towards sites and events of the 1994 genocide. This is a horrific part of history that most Americans know so little about. Tim's effort to share about his trip is so much more significant than the crap I blog about. How can we 'never forget' if we aren't even aware in the first place?
