I must say, I've never seen that.

Kiawah Island?

Brookgreen gardens?

No leaves on the tree. The statue is at the top of a slope. I don't think it's coastal. I think it's in Dutch Square.

No, not Kiwah Island. Good use of the obvious clues though. No Brookgreen gardens either. Dutch Square is way off. Don't rule out the coast. I'll add another photo if no one gets any warmer.

Was going to guess it was a statue of Jim Holderman on the Horsewhoe @ USC. But not coastal enough.
Georgetown?

Hmmm. Only visible clues appear to be a broom in one hand and dusting rag in the other. My best guess is this is the famous "Chief Scrubatub", friend and hammock maker of the original European settlers of Polly's Island.

Speaking of obvious clues, I decided to read the plaque on the front of the statue. The guy is from 1670, so it's got to be coastal. He's of the Kiawah tribe, so I'm going to guess somewhere on Kiawah island.

No, not Georgetown, Pawley's, Canden, Google, or Kiawah Island. I intentionally left the plaque visible to mess with you. I'll add another photo, just to make it easier. ; )
