I've been working on a Scout Leader training program called Wood Badge, which is partly why I haven't had time for blogging lately. Wood Badge is a 6 day program (over 2 long weekends) but also includes developing and presenting a project for the second weekend and then completing 5 goals, or "tickets", within the following 18 months. The program is all about leadership skills. I've had a good deal of leadership training during my career and while earning my MBA, but this has been the best by far.
Congrats! Now work your magic and lead us to the Great Wolf Lodge! I want to see the 5 little cousins having a blast at the water park. Should we try Carowinds too? Our kids would be sooo excited to be at Carowinds with G&B. Plus wouldn't they give you a badge or 2for leading the 5 crazy Nicholson cousins!?
Nah, this blog was not one of my tickets. They have to be harder than that. And "Yes" I CAN start a fire by rubbing 2 sticks together, as long as the 2 sticks are self starting matches.

Awesome! Congratulations!!
Was this blog one of your "tickets"?
You are already a good leader, I don't care what anyone says. My question is, can you start a fire by rubbing two sticks together?

Did you have to duck walk like that to approach the podium and accept you prize?
